We recently completed a breezeway remodel for a home in Skokie, transforming it into a functional and stylish year-round space. The project began with the original breezeway, which served as the foundation for our work. We strengthened the existing brick wall to ensure stability and durability. New framing was added to support the new roof, creating a solid structure for the remodel. The exterior wall and windows were installed, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and providing better insulation. This breezeway remodel not only improves the home's exterior but also creates a welcoming transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for enjoying the fresh air in comfort.
